Our expertly trained Health Care Assistants provide specialist one to one support for people with spinal injuries at home. They receive extra training and support from our clinical lead nurses who have the levels of skills and experience to support. Long and short term care is available to support a variety of spinal injuries.

Brain Injuries
MyLife Health Care Assistants are specially trained and supervised by our clinical nurse team who will also be involved in the delivery of an effective and personalised care plan.
There are several aspects to brain injury rehabilitation and everyone is affected differently. The encouraging nature of our Health Care Assistants is an essential part to helping with recovery, offering practical and emotional support throughout the recovery journey.

Children and Young Person's Specialist Care
MyLife offers home care for children and young people with complex, acute and chronic illnesses, as well as life threatening or life limiting conditions. Health Care Assistants working with children are expertly trained in providing the clinical and social support needs of each child. This includes training in paediatric first aid and basic life support.

Learning Disabilities
MyLife provides home and community support for people of all ages with one, or multiple learning disabilities such as Cerebral Palsy, Downs Syndrome, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Attention Deficit Disorder. Health Care Assistants supporting children and young adults with a learning disability receive regular supervision and support from their clinical nurse lead.

End of Life and Palliative Care
Palliative care Health Care Assistants are specially trained in palliative nursing and are supervised by our lead Clinical Nurse. A personalised care plan will be created with the aim to treat and manage pain, as well as any other physical symptoms. It will also help with any psychological, social or spiritual needs.

Home from Hospital
MyLife offers assistance when returning home from hospital following an illness or injury, short or long term. Our Health Care Assistants are nurse led and specially trained to be able to offer services at home such as changing dressings. Home from Hospital service often allows early discharge to continue recovering at home with the right support in place.

Rapid Response and Health Monitoring
The MyLife rapid response and health monitoring team are able to help with early discharge from hospital, one of our clinical nurses will perform an assessment and ensure that you receive regular monitoring in your home, often preventing readmission to hospital.
