How we use your data

We collect your personal information in the following ways:

Contact form submission

When you submit a contact form, we collect only the data we need from you to enable to make contact with you about our services, or about recruitment if you applying for a job with MyLife. Your information is stored on a secure database called HubSpot which allows us to effectively manage our contact with you and progress your enquiry.

Telephone Call

When you make contact with MyLife by telephone, you will speak to a member of our central welcoming team who use a customer service ticket system called FreshDesk. This allows us to manage your enquiry and share your details internally via HubSpot (mentioned above).

How your data is stored and processed

HubSpot servers are in the United States of America and HubSpot maintains a Privacy Shield certification with the U.S. Department of Commerce which ensures that adequate safeguards are in place when we transfer personal data from the EU to the US.

FreshDesk (Freshworks) servers are also based in the United States of America and data transfers are through EU-US Privacy Shield Certification and Model Contractual Clauses. Freshworks uses both ways to legitimise data transfers.

We link FreshDesk and HubSpot together to streamline our internal communications by using a custom built application stored with New Vision Software Ltd who process your data through each system. Our database is held on secure servers using complex passwords to gain access. Any Website or API traffic is directed over HTTPS using an SSL certificate that is designed to prevent interception.

The information we collect is used for understanding the reasons you wish to contact us, and for enabling us to contact you back. We will never sell or give your details to a third party.

We will never send you unwanted emails or contact you without having your prior consent. If you do opt-in to download one of our guides, or to receive updates and news about MyLife, then it will be made clear that you have done so, we will also always provide you with a clear opportunity to opt-out.

When you download guides and useful documents from our website, we will store your information on our secure database, this enables us to communicate further information to you as agreed when you opt-in. Again, there is always the opportunity for you to opt-out and have your details removed.

Your Rights
