How Live-In Care Works

If you’re in Kent looking for live-in care, you will have a dedicated Live-In Care Assistant with you in the comfort of your own home. You will need to be able to provide the Care Assistant with their own private room that has a bed.

Your Live-In Care Assistant will be there to support your care needs day and night, keeping you company and helping you spend each day the way you want to. There will usually be two assistants to support you: your main Live-In Care Assistant and a second person who will cover the main assistant when they are taking their time off.

The main assistant will be with you from 2 to 6 weeks, then will take some time off. This is when the second assistant will cover. The MyLife office team is on hand to support both you and your Live-In Care Assistant, offering guidance if and when needed.
