Why Choose MyLife Homecare Edinburgh?
Fully Regulated, High-Quality Care
MyLife Homecare Edinburgh are fully regulated by the Care Inspectorate, ensuring that every aspect of our service meets strict quality and safety standards. From medication management to personal care, our systems are built to deliver safe, effective, and accountable care every day.
Compassionate, Highly Trained Carers
Our carers are the heart of everything we do. Each one is carefully selected, trained to a high standard, and supported by an experienced management team. Many live locally – whether in Leith, Stockbridge or Bruntsfield – which allows them to offer consistent, punctual, and personalised care.
Continuity of Care and Familiar Faces
We believe in consistency and familiarity, not a revolving door of carers. With MyLife, our clients benefit from seeing the same friendly faces as often as possible. This builds trust and makes everyday support more comfortable and reassuring.
Personalised Support Tailored to You
We never offer a one-size-fits-all approach. Every care package is tailored to the individual’s needs, preferences, routines, and family input. Whether you need private home care in Liberton, live-in care in Portobello, or short-term support after hospital discharge in Loanhead, our care plans are flexible and responsive.
Transparent Pricing and Flexible Packages
There are no hidden costs or confusing contracts. We offer transparent pricing and flexible options, whether you want a few hours a week or full-time live-in care. Our private home care packages are ideal for families who want premium care tailored to their unique needs.
Local Expertise and Community Focus
Our teams are based in the communities we serve – we know the people, the streets, the GP practices, and the local services. Whether you’re near the Meadows, in Leith, around Livingston Centre, or just steps from Musselburgh High Street, you’ll benefit from a team that understands the local area and can respond quickly to your needs. This deep local knowledge helps us provide timely, personalised support that reflects the unique character of Edinburgh and the Lothians.

All MyLife Edinburgh carers must have a valid PVG before they can work with our clients. In addition, we will seek 2 references from previous employers or places of study before a carer is offered a role with MyLife.
We advertise, interview, select and employ all carers directly. We train our carers in-house using a dedicated training team. Once training has been completed, new carers then shadow an experienced carer before they embark on care delivery for our clients by themselves.
