Murrow Brook Café is in Wisbech, it’s a drop in social group that is wheelchair accessible. You will be able to have a cup of tea or coffee and homemade cakes are usually on sale. The group also runs a knitting meet up to knit for charity and have a chat.

Friday Lunch Club – St Paul’s

Running for 20 years, the Friday Lunch Club at St Paul’s on Hills Road is available for older people in Cambridge to meet up and enjoy Friday lunch together. There is a communion service before the lunch, however this is optional.

Day clubs are popular and offer a friendly environment to meet others, have a cup of tea and take part in activities such as quizzes, games and sometimes outings.

The Cambridge and County Bowling Club has both outdoor and indoor greens so players can take part all year round. They are located on Brooklands Avenue and welcome people who are new to playing. If you are feeling competitive there is the option to join their bowling leagues.

The Cambridge Bridge Club holds plays at two locations; Trumpington Village Hall and St Andrews Hall in Chesterton. The club welcomes new members and provides Bridge Lessons for people who are new to playing Bridge.

Forever Active offers exercise classes for over 50s of all abilities and ages. You can try any of the 50 classes they have, they range from chair based exercises to activities for those who have more mobility and are more active. There is something to suit everyone.
