Macmillan Cancer Support campaigns for funds every September by encouraging everyone to hold a World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. It’s a lovely opportunity to get together and socialise with a tea or coffee and eating some delicious cakes.
2.5 million people in the UK are living with cancer – it’s a phenomenal number. And as you may already know, Macmillan provides much help in the form of guidance and support, as well as nursing. £27 pays for an hour of a Macmillan nurse.
At MyLife, we see the effects of Cancer on families, be that personally, or through our work in the community. We are passionate about helping to raise funds, but also passionate about enabling our clients and staff to get together for a bit of a social gathering. We are also welcoming anyone from our communities to come and join us.
Join our World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at MyLife Lewes or MyLife Canterbury.

Choosing the right home care provider
This can feel like a very big decision, after all, your relative’s wellbeing is effectively being put into the hands of the agency that you choose. However, there is help available to help you make the right decision. Consumer rights champions Which? provides a care services directory, which includes the latest information and rankings for home care providers. You can also find more information about agencies via the Care Quality Commission, which is the industry regulator in England, for Scotland, it is the Care Inspectorate.
